QiGong (Chee-Kung) has been a life-changing practice for me, a pathway to greater strength, balance, agility, and equanimity. I have found a deeper understanding of the ways we embody and physically remember stress and trauma while discovering a joyful yet peaceful practice that rejuvenates the body and mind.

My goal as a teacher is to share the practice with you and help you to “be your own guru” by developing your unique practice of qigong and meditation. I continue to train and learn, and am particularly interested in contributing to the growing body of knowledge supporting tai chi and qigong as complementary practices for a healthy lifestyle and in helping to introduce QiGong as an accessible and enjoyable practice for good health to all people.

My training in QiGong began with Roger Jahnke of the Institute for Integral QiGong and Tai Chi (IIQTC). I am a certified Community Practice Leader in Medical QiGong in the ancient healing tradition known as Bu Zheng QiGong (vitality enhancement method). I have also trained with Roger Jahnke in Primordial QiGong (Wuji QiGong), developed by Daoist monk Chang San Feng, and in Iron Shirt QiGong and tai chi with Nzazi Malonga of the Dharma Health Institute in Los Angeles, California.

In addition to my QiGong training, I am also a certified Baptiste Power Yoga Instructor, a Wilderness First Responder and a Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide.
